Successful transition to ISO 27001:2022

IT Systems successfully transition to the latest Information Security ISO 27001:2022 strengthening its commitment to information security.

IT Systems, a leading IT solutions company in the North-East, is proud to announce its successful transition to ISO 27001:2022.  This internationally recognized accreditation, awarded by the International Standard Organization (ISO) shows IT Systems commitment to maintaining the highest standards of information security.

ISO 27001:2022 is an internationally recognised standard that provides a robust framework for establishing, implementing, maintaining and continually improving Information Security Management Systems (ISMS). It is also the latest version of the ISO 27001 standard, which includes updates to address the evolving landscape of information security. It provides a systematic approach to managing sensitive company information, ensuring it remains secure. The certification proves IT Systems dedication to protecting customer data, intellectual property, employee information, and other sensitive assets.

Following successful full vetting, auditing and inspection by the British Standards Institute (BSI), this certification brings numerous benefits to IT Systems clients and partners, including enhanced trust and confidence, and allowing for reliance on the rigorous security standards IT Systems upholds.  Additionally, achieving ISO 27001:2022 helps IT Systems meet various regulatory and legal requirements, reducing the risk of breaches and associated penalties. Furthermore, the certification process has led to improved internal processes, enhancing overall operational efficiency and effectiveness.

“Achieving ISO 27001:2022 accreditation is a major transition in our commitment to protecting and upholding Information Security for our systems and the systems of our customers.  Having first gaining ISO accreditation back in 2018 our commitment to information security and risk management demonstrates our continual adherence to the highest international standards overarching and underpinning everything we do”
